schools

Mrs. WS here. I was thinking about all the schools I attended throughout my life and decided I should post them lest I forget where I went at some point in the future. The list is long because I was a Navy brat and we didn’t stay in one place very long.

Jefferson Elementary – Hawthorne, California

Pearl City Elementary – Pearl City, Hawaii

Uncasville Elementary – Uncasville, Connecticut

a school I can’t remember the name of in Norfolk, Virginia (I was there only six weeks)

Poinciana Elementary – Key West, Florida

Sigsbee Elementary – Key West, Florida

Montville High School – Montville, Connecticut (6th grade went to the high school)

Berkeley Jr. High – Moncks Corner, South Carolina

Chicora High – Charleston, South Carolina

Pacific Beach Jr. High – Pacific Beach, California

Kailua Intermediate – Kailua, Hawaii

Radford High – Honolulu, Hawaii

Cascade High – Everett, Washington

Abilene Christian College – Abilene, Texas

Los Angeles Trade Technical College – Los Angeles, California

West Los Angeles College – Los Angeles, California

El Camino College – Torrance, California

Antelope Valley College – Lancaster, California

There they are, all the schools I’ve attended. I had quite an education… east coast, west coast, Hawaii when it was a territory and a second time when it was a state. When I went to school in California it was one of the best school systems in the U.S.; now it’s near the bottom of the list. Schools in the east half of the U.S. were the strictest and I learned the most while attending them. Hawaii was the most laid-back, as would be expected, and I had a great time!
