back yard shots

Our back yard is looking better all the time. Don’t you just love spring? Everything looks so pretty and fresh… too bad it can’t stay that way all year ’round.

The gnome is having a good time swinging amongst the irises.

The roses are all in bloom. If only the hollyhocks would hurry up and bloom…

Seymour and her entourage are enjoying the warm days.

80+ degrees. Perfect.

  1. Absolutely lovely. And it looks so nice and warm, as well. We get a lot of sun here in Aberdeenshire (for Scotland, that is), but not so much warmth.

After that nice warm spell we had cold days for a while, then back to warm, then back to cold. I wish the weather would just stay warm. Are your summers warm there?

      • Hmm…the sun is warm in the summer, but because Aberdeen is on the North Sea, the wind is often cool which brings the temperature down. We’ll get a couple of weeks of mid- to high-70s which sometimes creep up into the 80s, but that’s about it. Of course, the seasons are definitely changing, as well, and this spring has been colder than in past years.

  2. I know what you mean! Sadly, as I live in an attic flat I don’t have my own garden. However, last ear I invested in some windown boxes – so I can’t wait to either buy some replacements or make my own up 😉

Just abit of colour outsied your window brightens the whole day doesn’t it!

Lovely to see you blogging again xxx
